A single-ingredient tea done properly. One hundred percent Thai lemongrass and nothing else, so the cup is pure and unmuddled: bright, sharp lemon citrus, a gentle hay sweet undertone that stops it turning sour, and an intense fresh lemongrass aroma that fills the kitchen as it brews. There is no added flavouring hiding thin leaf here, which is why it finishes so clean, zero bitterness, no metallic tang. It works either way: brisk and reviving in the morning, or as a light digestive after a heavy meal where something sweet would sit wrong. Because it is a pure herb rather than a blend, do not expect depth or body, this is a clear, fragrant, refreshing cup, not a substantial one. Caffeine-free, so fine any time of day, and a thread of honey lifts the natural sweetness if you want it rounder. For anyone who finds fruit and spice infusions too busy, this is a clean palate-resetter.
