Our Story
Ask Lee a normal question and he'll route you to the right tea, page or answer.
How to use Ask Lee
- Describe the whole situation: gift, caffeine, budget, time of day, who it is for.
- Ask it to compare teas, or narrow by flavour, price or stock.
- It recommends real products and points you to the right page.
A tea marketplace built like a proper catalogue.
Teas.co.uk exists because buying tea online should be less vague: broad stock, useful product information, reliable fulfilment and a catalogue that lets people compare properly.
325+ products across 37+ brands and eight tea families, from everyday tea bags and loose leaf staples to herbal infusions, decaf, gifts, coffee and more specialist teas. It is built from Tunbridge Wells by Lee Samuel Tucker with an e commerce and systems mindset: make the range searchable, comparable and worth trusting.
Tea buying should not feel like guesswork.
Tea is easy to find. Useful comparison is the part that usually breaks: different shops, different formats, unclear stock, different delivery rules and not enough practical detail.
02 One idea, kept practical
Finding good tea online should not feel like guesswork. A customer should be able to compare tea bags with loose leaf, caffeine free with decaf, a familiar brand with something more specialist, and understand what they are buying before checkout.
Lee's background is e commerce and systems, so the work behind Teas.co.uk is not to make tea sound mystical. It is to structure the market properly, keep product information useful, show the buying details that matter, and make repeat orders straightforward.
03 What we don't do
- ×We don't make vague lifestyle claims. Product pages should help you choose, not dress tea up as a cure, ritual or personality test.
- ×We don't hide the useful details. Format, caffeine, pack size, price per cup and delivery information all matter.
- ×We don't pretend every buyer is the same. Everyday tea drinkers, serious enthusiasts, gift buyers and repeat customers need different routes through the same catalogue.
- ×We don't hide fulfilment details. Delivery information, stock signals and samples are part of the buying decision, not small print.
04 How a parcel ships
Order before 2pm on a weekday and we pack it the same day. We post Royal Mail Tracked from Tunbridge Wells, Kent. The box is corrugated cardboard, the void fill is shredded card, and there is a free sample in every order.
Every product page shows the per cup price next to the box price. Per box is the supermarket's number; per cup is the one that lets you actually compare brands. A £7 box of 15 pyramids costs more per cup than a £3 box of 80 round bags, and we make sure you can see that without doing the maths.
05 Where this goes next
The catalogue will keep growing around useful buying signals: tea type, format, caffeine, pack size, price per cup, brand, delivery and real availability. More stock is only an advantage if it is easier to navigate.
325+ products. 37+ brands. Based in Tunbridge Wells, Kent. Practical filters, useful product information, UK-based fulfilment, worldwide delivery and free samples with every order.
We stock and explain.
The job is to make the catalogue usable: real categories, useful filters, product notes and the practical details a buyer needs.
Breadth matters.
Familiar British names sit alongside specialist teas, infusions, coffee and tea-table staples so customers can compare in one place.
Fulfilment matters too.
Orders are packed in the UK, delivery is stated clearly, selected non-UK delivery is shown at checkout, and every order includes free samples.
Tea is wide-ranging. Here's how we make it usable.
Every tea sits on practical axes: family, use, format and feature. Pick one, or stack several, and the catalogue narrows without hiding the useful details.
The people behind the catalogue.
Questions go to people close to the catalogue and the orders. That matters when you need stock checked, two products compared, or a delivery question answered without a script.
"The point is simple: make tea easier to compare, easier to buy, and easier to come back to. More choice only works when the structure is good."
