Lipton's peach sits on a deliberately quiet black base and Peach Paradise is a caffeine free herbal; this one puts the fruit on whole leaf Mao Feng, a properly good green tea with delicate floral clarity instead of the dusty grassiness of cheap green bags. The peach is lush and authentic, real fruit pieces rather than just flavouring, so the aroma off the cup is properly orchard-fresh, but the Mao Feng holds its own underneath and keeps the whole thing light, silky and clean rather than syrupy. It is the one to pick if you want fragrant fruit but also want to actually taste a quality green tea. The one rule that matters: brew it off the boil, around eighty degrees, or the green base turns bitter and bullies the peach. Lovely iced. Forget any promises about pep; it is simply a refreshing fruit green tea for the morning or the afternoon.
