Where the strawberry version is bright and milk-friendly, peach is the softer, rounder one in the Hyson fruit range, a mellow stone-fruit sweetness over the same robust Ceylon black. Its natural home is iced: brewed strong, chilled and left unsweetened it makes one of the better homemade peach iced teas, far cleaner than the sugary bottled stuff. Hot it is pleasant but the fruit reads quieter, so if you only drink it warm the strawberry or a sharper infusion may suit you better. As a summer jug, though, this is the pick of them.
