The Story Behind the Twinings

Twinings was founded by Thomas Twining in 1706 at 216 Strand, London, where the original shop still operates today, making it the world's oldest continuously operating tea shop. The Twining family ran the business for nine generations and Stephen Twining is the current ambassador.
