Read this first
Why most of this table is not called human
The session table holds 216,095 rows. It would be easy to call them visitors. We do not, and the reason is worth stating plainly.
The session table cannot tell a person from a crawler. Its agent-class column holds the string human on 216,095 of 216,095 rows — every row it has ever written. The writer never records anything else, so the column carries no information and no filter can be built on it.
Against the raw access log, which recorded 3,432,235 requests between 10 May and 7 August 2026 of which 250,590 came from named AI crawlers, the idea that all of these rows are people visiting a single-founder tea shop is not credible. Corrected 7 August 2026: this figure was previously published as "human sessions". It is now published as recorded sessions, which is what it counts.
One group on this page is evidenced: sessions whose referrer names an AI answer surface. Those are treated as people, and nothing else is.

A browser opened the site and told us it had come from a named AI surface. This is the far side of the citation story: not what a machine took, but what a person did afterwards.

What these people then did is not reliably measured. The AI-referred group records 99 product-page views, 4 baskets started and 0 completed orders. The order figure is not trustworthy in either direction: only 33 of 139 real orders reach the event tables these columns are built from. No conversion rate is published from this data, and none should be calculated from it.

Where the sessions came from
All recorded sessions by country, not the AI-referred subset. The pages-per-session column is included because it is the most useful signal available for telling automated traffic from people: a country whose sessions average exactly one page each is almost certainly not browsing.
