You'll need

  • 1 tea bag of True English Tea Everyday Green Tea
  • 250ml cold, fresh water
  • A lidded glass or small jug
  • Optional: a slice of lemon or cucumber, or a sprig of mint

Method

  1. Drop one bag into 250ml of cold water in a glass or jug. Use cold water only.
  2. Cover and refrigerate for 4 to 8 hours, or overnight.
  3. Lift out the bag. Cold water draws out the sweeter notes and leaves the harshness behind.
  4. Pour over ice with lemon, cucumber or mint if you like. Drink within 24 hours and keep it chilled.
  5. Two bags in the same water make a stronger jug without making it bitter.
