- Honey to taste
- Pour water straight off the boil over one bag in a warmed mug.
- Cover the mug with a saucer and steep for at least 5 minutes, longer if you want it rounder.
- Lift the bag out and stir in honey only if you want it, which most people find they do not.

- 1 bag Pukka Organic Peace
- 250ml water straight off the boil
- 1 teaspoon honey
- Juice of half a lemon
- Steep 1 bag in 250ml for 6 minutes, covered.
- Stir in the honey while the cup is still hot so it dissolves properly.
- Add the lemon juice last, off the heat, so it stays bright.
What you'll end up with: The standard comfort drink for a scratchy throat, without any caffeine in it.
Chamomile Poached Pears
How to make Chamomile Poached Pears with Pukka Organic Peace.
- 3 bags Pukka Organic Peace
- 600ml water
- 150g caster sugar
- 4 firm pears, peeled
- A strip of lemon peel
- Steep 3 bags in 600ml of water straight off the boil for 10 minutes, then lift them out.
- Dissolve the sugar in the warm infusion with the lemon peel.
- Poach the peeled pears in the syrup at a bare simmer for 25 to 30 minutes until tender.
- Reduce the remaining syrup by half and pour it over to serve.
What you'll end up with: Pale gold pears with a honeyed floral syrup. The chamomile does what vanilla usually does, more quietly.
