Fruit-tea SKUs come and go faster than core teas. The flavourings are the constraint: when a supplier drops a particular natural passionfruit extract, or upgrades to a new contract that excludes the small-volume blends, the brand has to either reformulate or discontinue. Tropical Sun went with discontinue. Reformulation usually means a different cup, and the customers who liked it for a specific reason are the ones who complain loudest.
Soursop is the closest thing in the Tropical Sun range: tropical, slightly sweet, more floral than mango, less tart than passionfruit. It is what we recommend as the bridge. It is also one of the brand's better blends. The recent Soursop restock and four new Caribbean lines (covered separately) signal Tropical Sun is consolidating around their stronger SKUs rather than spreading thin.
Automatic switching keeps the cup-of-tea ritual uninterrupted for subscribers.
