Darjeeling Grape Spritz Mocktail (Twinings Darjeeling)
Chilled Twinings Darjeeling with white grape juice, lemon and soda, an alcohol free take on sparkling wine.

Darjeeling carries a natural muscatel grape note, so pairing it with white grape juice is an obvious move: chilled Darjeeling, grape juice, a little lemon and soda come together into something close to a non alcoholic sparkling wine. A proper grown up mocktail, and no booze.

You'll need
- 3 tea bags of Twinings Darjeeling
- 300ml water, just off the boil (about 95C)
- 100ml white grape juice, chilled
- 200ml chilled soda water
- 1 lemon, half juiced and half sliced
- Plenty of ice
Method
- Steep the 3 Darjeeling bags in the just off boil water for 3 to 4 minutes, then lift them out and leave to cool and chill.
- Fill two tall glasses with ice and divide the chilled Darjeeling and the white grape juice between them.
- Add the lemon juice and stir gently.
- Top each glass with chilled soda water.
- Finish with lemon slices and serve straight away.
- Use a good, slightly sweet white grape juice; it should feel from the same family as the muscatel Darjeeling, not compete.
