Exact quantities, then the method.
This makes a homemade ginger-beer-style fizz without any of the sugar of the bottled stuff. A strong, chilled brew of Twinings Bioblends Lemon, Ginger and Turmeric already has the ginger heat and lemon sharpness; all it needs is honey and a top of soda.

Makes two tall glasses. Brew strong, chill, then build over ice and lengthen with soda.
You'll need
- 3 tea bags of Twinings Bioblends Lemon, Ginger and Turmeric
- 300ml freshly boiled water (100C)
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 200ml chilled soda water
- 1 lemon, half juiced and half sliced
- A small piece of fresh ginger, grated (optional)
- Plenty of ice
Method
- Brew strong: steep the 3 bags in the boiled water for 6 minutes, then lift them out.
- Stir in the honey while warm, add the grated ginger if you want extra heat, then leave to cool and chill.
- Fill two tall glasses with ice and pour the chilled tea over, leaving room at the top.
- Add the juice of half the lemon, top each with chilled soda water, and stir gently.
- Finish with lemon slices and serve straight away.
- Grate in a little fresh ginger at the end for an even fierier kick.
