You'll need
- 1 tea bag of Twinings Pomegranate Green Tea
- 200ml freshly boiled water, cooled for about a minute (around 80C)
- A little honey, to taste (optional)
Method
- Boil the kettle, then let it stand for about a minute so the water drops to around 80C.
- Pop the bag into your cup and pour the water over.
- Steep for 2 minutes, no longer, to keep the leaf soft and let the fruit through.
- Lift out the bag without squeezing it, add a little honey if you like, and enjoy.
- Taste before adding honey; the tart pomegranate is often enough acidity and sweetness on its own in a well-brewed cup.
