Tetley Super Green Mango and Pineapple is the gentle way into Green Tea: the mango and pineapple soften the green base, so it comes out sweet and tropical rather than grassy or sharp. That makes it a good one if straight green tea has always tasted too astringent to you.

It only asks for one thing, water that is not boiling. Green leaf scorches at a full 100C and turns bitter, which would bury the fruit, so let the kettle sit a minute or so before pouring.
You'll need
- 1 tea bag of Tetley Super Green Mango and Pineapple
- 200ml just-off-boil water cooled to about 80C (boil the kettle, then let it stand for roughly 90 seconds)
- Optional: a little honey
Method
- Boil the kettle and let it rest about 90 seconds, until it falls to roughly 80C.
- Add a bag to your mug and pour over 200ml of the cooled water.
- Steep two to three minutes, then lift the bag out without pressing it.
- The fruit brings its own sweetness, so it is ready to drink, with a little honey only if you want more.
