Serves one. Keep the water at 80C as always, and use a small whisk or a milk frother to work up the froth. The cup will be a little cloudy, which is the fine leaf itself.
You'll need
- 1 tea bag of Tetley Decaf Pure Green Tea
- 150ml just-off-boil water cooled to about 80C (boil, then rest the kettle for roughly 90 seconds)
- A small whisk or milk frother
- Optional: a little honey, or warm milk to make a latte
Method
- Snip open the tea bag and tip the fine green leaf into a wide cup or bowl.
- Add a splash of the 80C water and whisk to a paste, then add the rest and whisk briskly in a zig-zag until frothy.
- The fine leaf gives a matcha-style froth and a fuller, greener cup than steeping. It will be a little cloudy, which is just the leaf.
- Sweeten with a little honey, or top with warm frothed milk for a caffeine-free green latte.
