Exact quantities, then the method.
Yogi Tea Organic Detox is a root-and-spice Ayurvedic-style blend, ginger and liquorice with cinnamon and black pepper. Brewed five minutes, it gives a caffeine-free, deep golden cup with a warming ginger bite, a natural liquorice sweetness and a gentle peppery lift. Good as it is, or softened with a splash of milk into something chai-like.

You'll need
- 1 tea bag of Yogi Tea Organic Detox
- 300ml freshly boiled water (100C)
- A splash of milk, optional
- A slice of lemon, optional
Method
- Pop the tea bag in a big mug.
- Pour over the freshly boiled water and leave to steep for 5 minutes so the ginger, liquorice and spice come through.
- Lift out the bag without squeezing it.
- Drink as it is for a naturally sweet spiced cup, or add a splash of milk for a softer, chai-like cup.
- A slice of lemon also lifts it nicely. Sip warm.
- Taste before sweetening; the liquorice gives real natural sweetness, and honey can tip it sweeter than the blend intends.
