Cold-Brewed Twinings Pomegranate Green Tea (Overnight)

Tart fruit and cold brewing get on well, and pomegranate is no exception. Steep Twinings Pomegranate Green Tea in cold water overnight and it comes out bright and tangy without the bitterness hot water can drag in. Serve it over ice with a good scatter of fresh pomegranate seeds and let them do their thing as you drink.

⏱ 5 min plus overnight 🍽 Serves 4 📊 Easy 📚 Cold Brew Tea Recipes

You'll need

  • 4 tea bags of Twinings Pomegranate Green Tea
  • 1 litre cold water
  • A little honey, to taste (optional)
  • Ice and pomegranate seeds, to serve

Method

  1. Put the 4 bags into a large jug and pour over the cold water.
  2. Cover and refrigerate for 8 to 12 hours, or overnight.
  3. Lift out the bags (no need to squeeze), and stir in a little honey if you want it sweeter.
  4. Serve over ice scattered with a few pomegranate seeds.
  5. Use the pomegranate seeds generously; as you drink, they release small bursts of fresh juice that contrast with the cold brewed base.
What you'll end up with: A bright, tangy cold brew with real pomegranate sharpness and no bitter edge, made livelier by the seeds.
