You'll need

  • 1 tea bag of Tetley Decaf Pure Green Tea
  • 250ml cold, fresh water
  • A lidded glass or small jug
  • Optional: a slice of lemon or cucumber, or a sprig of mint

Method

  1. Put one decaf green bag into 250ml of cold water in a lidded glass or jug, with no hot water at all.
  2. Cover and leave in the fridge for four to eight hours, or overnight.
  3. Lift the bag out; the cold steep gives you the sweetness without the bitterness.
  4. Serve over ice with lemon, cucumber or mint, and finish within a day.
What you'll end up with: A smooth, sweet, completely caffeine free green cold brew, gentle enough for the very end of the day.
