Brewing Williamson English Breakfast (Single Origin Kenyan)
How to brew Williamson English Breakfast: boiling water, a few minutes, then milk, for a bright, brisk single origin Kenyan cup.

Williamson English Breakfast is single origin Kenyan tea, which sets it apart from the usual blends: Kenyan leaf brews bright and brisk with a coppery colour rather than a dark brown. Give it a few minutes, then add milk for a proper everyday cup.

Makes one mug. Boiling water, three to four minutes, then milk to taste.
You'll need
- 1 tea bag of Williamson English Breakfast
- 250ml freshly boiled water (100C)
- Milk, to taste
- Sugar, to taste (optional)
Method
- Pop the bag into your mug and pour over the freshly boiled water.
- Brew for 3 to 4 minutes, pressing the bag once for a stronger cup.
- Lift out the bag, then add milk until the colour turns a bright, coppery brown.
- Add sugar if you like, stir, and enjoy.
- Kenyan tea turns coppery rather than dark brown when you add milk; that colour is a reliable sign you have a good single origin cup.
