Wiki: Best tea for a hangover morning: first pillar page live

Six pillar pages live in the new "best tea for…" series: hangovers, sore throats, anxiety, period pain, energy, cold and flu. Publishing 4-5 per week. Soren writes the health ones with citations. Lee writes the rest.

The health-adjacent pillar pages are split into two streams. Soren (qualified nutritional therapist) writes the medical-adjacent ones with citations to peer-reviewed sources, NHS guidance and registered-dietitian commentary. The pieces describe what teas people typically reach for in each situation and what the published evidence does and does not show. Where the evidence is thin, the page says so.

Lee writes the rest: opinion, taste, brewing advice, and what we stock. The two streams are clearly badged at the top of each page so the reader knows which kind of piece they are reading. Health questions get rigour. Brewing questions get strong opinions.

Pillar pages are long, evidence-based articles that anchor a topic and link out to shorter spokes (specific products, related wiki entries, recipes). The structural model is BBC long-form rather than the typical retailer blog. Each pillar takes a week of research and review, which is why we are publishing four to five a week rather than four hundred. Quality beats volume here.

The first six are live: hangover morning, sore throat, anxiety wind-down, period pain, energy crash, cold and flu. The next batch is in research: sleep, focus, post-workout, jet lag, and a couple of other high-search-volume areas. Some of those are tricky to write without lapsing into wellness vagueness. The standard we apply: would a sceptical GP nod at this?
