As with any green, the thing to watch is the water. A full boil scorches the leaf and turns it bitter, drowning the berry, so give the kettle a minute or so to drop off the boil before pouring.
You'll need
- 1 tea bag of Tetley Super Green Strawberry and Raspberry
- 200ml just-off-boil water cooled to about 80C (boil the kettle, then let it stand for roughly 90 seconds)
- Optional: a little honey
Method
- Boil the kettle, then leave it about 90 seconds to settle to roughly 80C.
- Drop a bag in your mug and pour over 200ml of the cooled water.
- Steep two to three minutes and lift the bag out without pressing it.
- The berries sweeten it naturally, so drink it as it is, adding a little honey only if you like.
