Tropical Sun Cleanse is a Caribbean-style root blend, dandelion root and milk thistle with lemongrass and ginger. Brewed five minutes in just-boiled water, the brew is earthy and faintly bitter from the roots, lifted by citrussy lemongrass and a little ginger heat. A slice of lemon brightens it further.

You'll need
- 1 tea bag of Tropical Sun Cleanse
- 300ml freshly boiled water (100C)
- Honey, optional, to taste
- A slice of lemon, optional
Method
- Pop the tea bag in your favourite mug.
- Pour over the freshly boiled water and leave to steep for 5 minutes so the root and ginger come through.
- Lift out the bag without squeezing it, to keep the earthiness rounded rather than sharp.
- Stir in a little honey and a slice of lemon if you like, to lift the citrus and soften the root note.
- Sip warm and enjoy as your morning cup.
- Let the cup cool for a minute before you sip; the earthy root note reads much warmer and rounder at around 65C than it does straight from the steep.
