The Classic Cup (Tisea Verveine Infusion)
French lemon verbena and nothing else: a bright golden cup that smells of fresh cut lemon and never turns sour. Caffeine free.

This is the classic French way with Tisea Verveine, pure lemon verbena leaves brewed into a bright golden cup. The scent is all fresh cut lemon, clean and aromatic, never sour the way a lemon slice can be. It is caffeine free and a staple of the French household, often poured at the end of a meal.

You'll need
- 1 tea bag of Tisea Verveine Infusion
- 250ml freshly boiled water (100C)
- Honey, optional, to taste
- A slice of lemon, optional
Method
- Pop the verveine bag in your favourite mug.
- Pour over the freshly boiled water and leave to steep for 5 minutes so the lemon verbena opens up.
- Lift out the bag without squeezing it, to keep the cup clean and bright.
- Taste, and add a little honey or a slice of lemon if you like.
- Sip warm and enjoy a fresh, lemony cup.
- Lemon verbena smells more of fresh cut lemon than lemon itself; smell the cup first, the aroma is half the pleasure.
