The Standard Cup (Yorkshire Tea Toast and Jam, Builder Strength)
Yorkshire Tea Toast and Jam brewed builder strength, a malty black tea with toasted bread and strawberry jam notes, lovely with milk.

Yorkshire Tea Toast and Jam is a proper malty Black Tea with cosy toasted bread and strawberry jam notes, and it wants brewing strong. Give it a good 3 to 4 minutes for a builder strength cup, add a splash of milk, and it really does taste like a brew made for jam on toast.

You'll need
- 1 tea bag of Yorkshire Tea Toast and Jam
- 300ml freshly boiled water (100C)
- A splash of milk
- Sugar or honey, optional, to taste
Method
- Pop the tea bag in a big mug.
- Pour over the freshly boiled water and leave to steep for 3 to 4 minutes for a proper builder strength.
- Lift out the bag, giving it a gentle squeeze for extra strength if you like a strong cup.
- Add a splash of milk, and sugar or honey if you take it.
- Stir and enjoy a cosy cup that tastes like jam on toast.
- Builder strength brings out the toast and jam note; steep the full 4 minutes and add milk last so you taste it first.
