Serves one. One-cup bags release quickly, so a slightly shorter steep does the job. Add milk and sugar to taste.
You'll need
- 1 tea bag of Tetley One Cup English Breakfast
- 200ml freshly boiled water (100C)
- A splash of milk
- Sugar to taste (optional)
Method
- Boil fresh water and pour it over the bag at a full 100C. These bags are sized for one mug.
- Steep for 2 to 3 minutes, as one-cup bags brew a touch quicker, or up to 4 for a stronger cup.
- Press the bag against the side of the mug and lift it out.
- Add a splash of milk, and sugar to taste.
- One-cup bags hold finely cut leaf, so they brew fast; do not leave them past 3 minutes or they turn bitter quickly.
