- A wide cup, not a tall mug
- Cocoa to dust, optional
- Warm the cup with a splash of hot water and tip it out. A cold cup costs you several degrees before the first sip.
- Run the discs in the order the carton gives, usually the milk element first.
- Brew the coffee element straight on top of the milk, which is what gives you the banded finish.
- Dust with cocoa if you want it, and drink it while the foam is still standing.

Iced Cappuccino

- A tall glass packed with ice
- A small jug
- A teaspoon of honey or syrup, optional
- Brew the full cappuccino into a small jug rather than onto the ice. Hot coffee poured straight over ice melts it on the way down and waters the drink out.
- Sweeten in the jug while it is still warm if you want it sweet, because syrup will not dissolve once the drink is cold.

- 1 cappuccino disc set, brewed and cooled
- 6 to 8 ice cubes
- 50ml cold milk of your choice
- Cocoa to finish
- Brew the cappuccino into a jug and chill it in the fridge for twenty minutes, or stand the jug in cold water to speed it up.
- Blend the cold coffee with the ice and the milk for about fifteen seconds, no longer, or you will whip the air straight back out of it.
- Pour into a tall glass and dust with cocoa.

Cappuccino Affogato

- 1 cappuccino disc set
- 2 scoops vanilla ice cream
- A pinch of sea salt
- A biscuit on the side
- Scoop the ice cream into two small bowls and put them back in the freezer while the machine warms up.
