Nescafe Latte Flavour Creamy Tiramisu Coffee Sachets, Dessert Edition, 7 Sachets 136.5g
Tiramisu is already a coffee pudding, so what you have here is a coffee flavoured to taste of a pudding that is itself flavoured to taste of coffee. The loop closes on itself. Nothing subtle survives that, and nothing subtle is being attempted. Where it earns its place is late: nine o'clock on a weeknight, wanting something sweet, not willing to start cooking for it. Read it as a pudding and it is good. Read it as a coffee and you will spend the mug wondering where the coffee went. The milk is in the powder, which puts the box out of reach of a dairy-free household.
Nescafe Latte Flavour Creamy Tiramisu Coffee Sachets, in brief.
Nescafé Creamy Tiramisu Latte is a dessert-flavoured milk coffee from the Nescafé Dessert Edition line, picked into the Teas.co.uk curator selection as the mug you make when you want something sweet in the evening and do not want to start cooking.
Seven single-serve sachets of 19.5g, one mug each, milk powder included so the box needs no fridge and travels in a bag. Sweet by design rather than by accident, with a creamy middle and a dry cocoa note at the back. Being a milk drink, it is not dairy-free.
What it is trying to be is the mug you make when you want something sweet at nine in the evening and do not want to start cooking. Seven sachets in the box, one mug each, milk in the powder so nothing needs to come out of the fridge, and a kettle is the only equipment. Judged as a pudding it is good. Judged as a coffee it is a flavoured latte with the sweetness turned up, which is exactly what the Dessert Edition name is telling you.

The Story Behind The Dessert Edition
Nescafé has been building flavoured milk sachets for years, and the Dessert Edition line is the end of that road: drinks named after puddings rather than after coffees. The commercial logic is obvious enough. A sweet sachet sells a first sip better than a plain one, and a pudding name sells it better still. The honest way to read it is as a confectionery product that happens to be made with a kettle.
Packaging: Follow the current UK pack and local-authority guidance; components can require different disposal routes.
What You Are Actually Buying
- Count: seven single-serve sachets of 19.5g each, one mug per sachet, so seven drinks from the box.
- Milk included: the milk component is in the sachet as a powder, which is why the box needs no fridge and travels. That also means it is not suitable for a dairy-free diet.
- Sweet by design: this is a dessert drink and it tastes like one. If you want to control the sweetness yourself, an unsweetened cappuccino sachet is the product for that job and this is not.
- Water only: no milk to add, no frother needed, no machine. A kettle and a mug is the whole kit.
- What it is not: not a dessert. It is a hot drink flavoured like one, and it will not stand in for a pudding at the table, only alongside one or instead of one on the sofa.
Ideal Serving Conditions
Milk sachets have a poor reputation and most of it is self-inflicted. Two habits account for nearly all of it: water at a rolling boil, which gives powdered milk a cooked, faintly tinny edge that fights the cream note, and stirring the mug after the pour, which flattens the foam the pour just built. Neither takes any effort to fix, and on a sweet drink the difference is larger than you expect, because the cooked note lands in the same place as the sweetness.
The Proper Mug
- Measure: one sachet to 180 to 200ml. Stretch it further and the cream note thins out first, leaving the sugar on its own.
- Water: let the kettle stand for a minute after it clicks, so you are pouring at around 90 degrees Celsius.
- Pour: powder into a dry mug first, then the water from a height and fairly fast. The drop is what makes the foam.
- Do not stir: or stir once, briefly, from the bottom. Every extra stir is foam you have knocked flat.
The Pudding Builds
- Dust it: a scrape of cocoa powder over the foam. It costs nothing and it is the single change that makes the drink taste finished rather than sweet.
- Sponge fingers: the obvious pairing and a genuinely good one. Dip them and you have a deconstructed tiramisu for the price of a biscuit.
- Make it on milk: hot milk instead of water gives a much richer mug. It is an upgrade rather than a requirement, and it does make the drink heavier.
- Iced: make it on half the water, stir until smooth, then pour over ice and top with cold milk. Cold flattens sweetness, so an iced version of a dessert sachet is often more drinkable than the hot one.
Getting It Right in the Cup
- Water temperature: around 90 degrees Celsius, not straight off the boil.
- Measure: one sachet per 180 to 200ml mug, and use a mug rather than a large cup.
- Method: powder in the dry mug, water poured from a height, minimal stirring.
- Storage: keep the sachets dry and sealed in their box. A split sachet in a damp cupboard sets solid.
- Travelling: the format's real advantage. No jar, no milk, no fridge, and seven mugs that fit flat in a bag.
- Best with: sponge fingers, an evening on the sofa, or as the thing you drink instead of a pudding rather than after one.

The taste profile
How does it compare
Nescafé Creamy Tiramisu Latte, Dessert Edition is already a finished sweet drink, so the useful builds are the ones that add texture or take the edge off the sugar rather than adding more of it. Six below cover the proper mug, a cocoa-dusted version, the iced one, a milk build, an affogato-style pudding and a no-bake tiramisu cream.
Made with this tea
The Proper Mug
How to make The Proper Mug with Nescafé Creamy Tiramisu Latte.
- 1 sachet Nescafé Creamy Tiramisu Latte
- 180ml water at 90 degrees Celsius
- Boil the kettle and let it stand for a minute, so you are not pouring at a rolling boil.
- Empty the sachet into a dry mug. A wet mug makes the powder clump before the water arrives.
- Pour from a height and fairly fast; the drop is what builds the foam.
- Leave it alone. One short stir from the bottom at most.
What you'll end up with: A creamy, sweet mug with a head on it and a dry cocoa note at the back. This is the reference cup; judge the rest against it.
Dusted, the Way It Should Be Served
How to make Dusted, the Way It Should Be Served with Nescafé Creamy Tiramisu Latte.
- 1 sachet Nescafé Creamy Tiramisu Latte
- A scrape of cocoa powder
- 2 sponge fingers
- Make the mug as above and let the foam settle for thirty seconds.
- Dust unsweetened cocoa over the foam through a small sieve.
- Serve with two sponge fingers on the saucer for dipping.
What you'll end up with: A deconstructed tiramisu for the price of a biscuit. The bitter cocoa is what stops the sweetness reading flat, and it costs nothing.
Iced Tiramisu Latte
How to make Iced Tiramisu Latte with Nescafé Creamy Tiramisu Latte.
- 1 sachet Nescafé Creamy Tiramisu Latte
- 80ml hot water
- 100ml cold milk
- A tall glass of ice
- Mix the sachet with only 80ml of hot water and stir until completely smooth. Lumps will not dissolve later.
- Pour the concentrate over a tall glass of ice.
- Top with cold milk and stir once.
What you'll end up with: The more balanced version of the two. Cold suppresses sweetness, so the cocoa and coffee notes come forward and the drink stops reading as pudding.
Made on Hot Milk
How to make Made on Hot Milk with Nescafé Creamy Tiramisu Latte.
- 1 sachet Nescafé Creamy Tiramisu Latte
- 180ml hot milk
- Heat the milk to steaming rather than boiling; boiled milk skins and tastes cooked.
- Mix the powder to a paste with a splash of the hot milk first, then add the rest.
- Whisk briefly with a hand frother if you have one.
What you'll end up with: A much heavier, richer mug. Worth doing once to see how far the format stretches, but the water version is the one you will make on a weeknight.
Tiramisu Affogato
How to make Tiramisu Affogato with Nescafé Creamy Tiramisu Latte.
- 1 sachet Nescafé Creamy Tiramisu Latte
- 80ml hot water
- 4 scoops vanilla ice cream
- Cocoa powder to dust
- Mix the sachet with 80ml of hot water into a thick, smooth concentrate.
- Scoop two scoops of vanilla ice cream into each cold bowl.
- Pour the hot concentrate over the top and dust with cocoa.
- Eat straight away, while half of it is still hot.
What you'll end up with: A pudding for two out of one sachet. Using the concentrate rather than a full mug is what stops the ice cream collapsing into soup.
No-Bake Tiramisu Cream Pots
How to make No-Bake Tiramisu Cream Pots with Nescafé Creamy Tiramisu Latte.
- 2 sachets Nescafé Creamy Tiramisu Latte
- 120ml hot water
- 250g mascarpone
- 8 sponge fingers
- Cocoa powder to dust
- Mix both sachets with 120ml of hot water and leave the liquid to go completely cold.
- Dip the sponge fingers in half of it, briefly, and break them into the bottom of four small pots.
- Beat the rest of the cold liquid into 250g of mascarpone until smooth, then spoon it over the top.
- Chill for two hours and dust heavily with cocoa before serving.
What you'll end up with: A tiramisu with no eggs, no espresso machine and no marsala. The sachet does the coffee, the sugar and the flavour in one move, and the cocoa dusting is not optional.

Sourcing & blend. Nescafé Creamy Tiramisu Latte, Dessert Edition is made by Nescafé, the instant coffee arm of a company that has been building flavoured milk sachets for decades. The Dessert Edition line is the far end of that development: drinks named after puddings rather than after coffees, which is a confectionery brief carried out with a kettle. Tiramisu is an unusual choice because it is already a coffee pudding, so the flavour closes a loop rather than adding a new note, and the interesting part of the cup is the dry cocoa tail that stops the sweetness reading flat.
What's in Nescafé Creamy Tiramisu Latte, Dessert Edition, and what isn't:
- In: a milk component in powder form, instant coffee and a sweetened tiramisu flavouring, in a single-serve sachet made up with hot water.
- No added sugar at your end needed: the sweetening is already in the sachet, so nothing needs to go in at the table. That is also why it cannot be made less sweet once it is in the mug.
- Not dairy-free: the milk component is intrinsic to the drink. Not suitable for a vegan or dairy-free diet, and not a drink for anyone with a milk allergy.
- Packaging: follow the current UK pack and your local-authority guidance; the outer carton and the sachet film usually take different disposal routes.
