Brewing Twinings Detox (Lemongrass, Ginger and Fennel)
How to brew Twinings Detox: just boiled water and a good five minute steep for an earthy, citrussy cup of lemongrass and ginger.

Twinings Detox is a caffeine free herbal with an earthy, citrussy character: lemongrass and ginger sit on top of dandelion and fennel, which makes it a bit more savoury sweet than a plain herbal. Give it a proper five minute steep in just boiled water to draw it all out.

Makes one cup. It needs no milk; a slice of lemon or a little honey suits it.
You'll need
- 1 tea bag of Twinings Detox
- 200ml freshly boiled water (100C)
- A little honey or a slice of lemon, to taste (optional)
Method
- Pop the bag into your favourite cup or mug.
- Pour over the freshly boiled water.
- Steep for a full 5 minutes to draw out the lemongrass, ginger and fennel.
- Lift out the bag, then add a slice of lemon or a little honey if you like. No milk needed.
- Do not rush it, as lemongrass and fennel are slow to give up their flavour.
