Brewing Twinings Balance (Hibiscus, Rose and Peppermint)

How to brew Twinings Balance: just boiled water and a good steep for a tart hibiscus cup with rose and cool mint.

Brewing Twinings Balance (Hibiscus, Rose And Peppermint)

Twinings Balance is a caffeine free herbal led by hibiscus, which brings a bright, almost cranberry like tartness. A delicate rose sits behind it and a cool peppermint finishes the cup. Give it a five minute steep in just boiled water to draw out the colour and the rose.

You'll need

  • 1 tea bag of Twinings Balance
  • 200ml freshly boiled water (100C)
  • A little honey, to taste (optional)

Method

  1. Pop the bag into your favourite cup or mug.
  2. Pour over the freshly boiled water.
  3. Steep for 5 minutes to draw out the hibiscus, rose and peppermint.
  4. Lift out the bag, add a little honey if you like, and enjoy. No milk needed.
  5. Hibiscus is naturally tart, so taste before sweetening; it softens as the cup cools.
What you'll end up with: A tart, ruby hibiscus cup with a delicate rose middle and a cool peppermint finish, caffeine free.
