Yorkshire Tea Toast and Jam was a flavoured limited edition blend, black tea with toast and strawberry jam character. Discontinued. Loyal following misses it. Closest current alternative: Yorkshire Biscuit Brew.

Yorkshire Tea base with malted toast and strawberry jam character; a sweet fruit top over the familiar Yorkshire body.

Why discontinued

It was a limited edition that did not earn a permanent slot, quietly pulled from supermarket distribution by 2022. The flavour was more divisive than its Biscuit Brew sibling: biscuit pairs naturally with tea in British drinking culture, but toast and jam reads as breakfast food and the strawberry jam top note tended to dominate the cup. The category fit was awkward, and softer sales than Biscuit Brew sealed it.

Where to find

  • eBay UK (search by exact product name).
  • Amazon Marketplace third party sellers.
  • Old stock at specialty retailers.

Quality declines after 12-18 months, so any remaining stock is well past its best.

Yorkshire Biscuit Brew is the nearest thing still on shelves: biscuit and tea character in the same flavoured Yorkshire concept. For a decaf flavoured option there is Yorkshire Bedtime Brew (vanilla and nutmeg). Neither is a like for like jam flavour, but both scratch the same comfort flavoured Yorkshire itch.

The bottom line on Yorkshire Toast & Jam

A discontinued Yorkshire Tea flavoured novelty experiment that didn't earn permanent shelf space. The strawberry jam top note dominated the cup more than drinkers wanted, and the category fit between toast as breakfast and tea as drink was awkward. If you specifically remember and miss the flavour, specialty dessert tea merchants can deliver something close; Yorkshire is not coming back to it. The Biscuit Brew is the nearest current pick.
