The Hot Cup (Twinings Orange and Cinnamon)

Twinings Orange and Cinnamon brewed 3 to 4 minutes, a festive black tea with bright orange and cinnamon, good black or with milk.

The Hot Cup (Twinings Orange And Cinnamon)

Twinings Orange and Cinnamon is a warming, festive Black Tea, all bright orange and cosy cinnamon. Brew it for three to four minutes and taste it black first to let the spice come forward; a splash of milk and a little honey soften it into something more chai like if you prefer.

You'll need

  • 1 tea bag of Twinings Orange and Cinnamon
  • 250ml freshly boiled water (100C)
  • A splash of milk, optional
  • Honey, optional, to taste
  • A strip of orange peel, optional

Method

  1. Pop the tea bag in your favourite mug.
  2. Pour over the freshly boiled water and leave to steep for 3 to 4 minutes so the orange and cinnamon come through.
  3. Lift out the bag without squeezing it.
  4. Taste it black to enjoy the spice, then add a splash of milk and a little honey if you prefer a softer cup.
  5. Drop in a strip of orange peel for extra aroma, and serve warm.
  6. Peel a long strip of orange, squeeze it over the cup to release the oils, then drop it in; it makes the cup smell freshly baked.
What you'll end up with: A warming black tea with bright orange and cinnamon, good drunk black or softened with milk.
