Creamy Iced Tea Frappe With Typhoo Qt Instant Tea

This is where Instant Tea earns its place. Because Typhoo QT already has the whitener mixed in, it blends straight into a thick, frothy frappe with nothing but ice, no brewing and no carton of milk required.

⏱ 5 min 🍽 Serves 1 📊 Easy 📚 Tea Mocktails

You'll need

  • 3 to 4 teaspoons of Typhoo QT One Cup Instant Tea
  • 100ml hot water (to dissolve)
  • 100ml cold milk (optional, for extra creaminess)
  • 2 teaspoons sugar or honey, to taste
  • A big handful of ice

Method

  1. Dissolve the instant tea in the hot water with the sugar, stir well, and let it cool for a few minutes.
  2. Put the dissolved tea, the milk and the ice into a blender.
  3. Blend until thick, smooth and frothy.
  4. Pour into a tall glass and serve at once with a straw.
  5. Add the ice last and blend briefly, so it stays thick rather than watery.
What you'll end up with: A tall, creamy frappe with a good head of foam, ready in about five minutes and not a kettle watch in sight.
