Creamy Iced Tea Frappe with Typhoo QT Instant Tea
Blend instant tea with ice into a thick, frothy iced tea frappe, a coffee shop treat in five minutes.

This is where Instant Tea earns its place. Because Typhoo QT already has the whitener mixed in, it blends straight into a thick, frothy frappe with nothing but ice, no brewing and no carton of milk required.

Dissolve it, let it cool for a few minutes, then blend with ice. Splash in a little cold milk if you want it richer.
You'll need
- 3 to 4 teaspoons of Typhoo QT One Cup Instant Tea
- 100ml hot water (to dissolve)
- 100ml cold milk (optional, for extra creaminess)
- 2 teaspoons sugar or honey, to taste
- A big handful of ice
Method
- Dissolve the instant tea in the hot water with the sugar, stir well, and let it cool for a few minutes.
- Put the dissolved tea, the milk and the ice into a blender.
- Blend until thick, smooth and frothy.
- Pour into a tall glass and serve at once with a straw.
- Add the ice last and blend briefly, so it stays thick rather than watery.
