Brewing Twinings Quiet Mind (Camomile and Lavender)

How to brew Twinings Quiet Mind: just boiled water and a good steep for a soft, floral camomile and lavender cup.

Brewing Twinings Quiet Mind (Camomile And Lavender)

Twinings Quiet Mind is a caffeine free herbal: camomile leads, a delicate lavender sits in the middle, and lemon balm and peppermint freshen the finish. The lavender is what marks it out, so it pays not to over brew it. Give it a five minute steep in just boiled water.

You'll need

  • 1 tea bag of Twinings Quiet Mind
  • 200ml freshly boiled water (100C)
  • A little honey, to taste (optional)

Method

  1. Pop the bag into your favourite cup or mug.
  2. Pour over the freshly boiled water.
  3. Steep for 5 minutes to draw out the camomile and lavender.
  4. Lift out the bag, add a little honey if you like, and enjoy. No milk needed.
  5. Go easy if you are new to lavender, as a longer steep makes it much stronger.
What you'll end up with: A soft, floral camomile cup with a gentle lavender middle and a fresh lemon balm finish, caffeine free.
