The Standard Evening Cup (Tropical Sun Calm)

A soft, honeyed camomile blend with lemongrass and a bright citrus note. Caffeine free and gently floral, easy of an evening.

The Standard Evening Cup (Tropical Sun Calm)

Tropical Sun Calm is a Caribbean style camomile blend, rounded out with lemongrass, lemon balm and passionflower. Brewed five minutes in just boiled water, it steeps into a naturally caffeine free pour, soft and honeyed from the camomile with a bright citrus lift. An easy, gently floral cup for the end of the day.

⏱ 6 min 🍽 Makes 1 mug 📊 Easy 📚 Camomile Tea Recipes

You'll need

  • 1 tea bag of Tropical Sun Calm
  • 250ml freshly boiled water (100C)
  • Honey, optional, to taste
  • A slice of lemon, optional

Method

  1. Pop the tea bag in your favourite mug.
  2. Pour over the freshly boiled water and leave to steep for 5 minutes so the camomile and citrus come through.
  3. Lift out the bag without squeezing it, to keep the cup soft and floral.
  4. Stir in a little honey if you like, to bring out the honeyed camomile note.
  5. Sip warm, a gentle cup for the end of the day.
  6. Give it the full five minutes; camomile is slow to open, and a rushed brew tastes mostly of lemongrass with little of the honeyed floral note.
What you'll end up with: A gentle, caffeine free cup of honeyed camomile with a bright citrus lift, easy to drink of an evening.
