Strong, chilled Twinings Raspberry and Lemon tea over ice with soda and a squeeze of lemon, a bright pink alcohol free spritz.

Raspberry And Lemon Sparkling Spritz (Twinings)

Brew Twinings Raspberry and Lemon strong, chill it hard, and it becomes a bright pink spritz that needs no cordial: the fruit tea is already doing the work. A squeeze of lemon and a top of soda are all it asks for.

⏱ 10 min plus chilling 🍽 Makes 2 glasses 📊 Easy 📚 Tea Mocktails

You'll need

  • 3 tea bags of Twinings Raspberry and Lemon
  • 300ml freshly boiled water (100C)
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
  • 200ml chilled soda water
  • 1 lemon, half juiced and half sliced
  • A handful of fresh raspberries
  • Plenty of ice

Method

  1. Brew strong: steep the 3 bags in the boiled water for 6 minutes, then lift them out.
  2. Stir in the honey while warm if you want it sweeter, then leave to cool and chill.
  3. Fill two tall glasses with ice and pour the chilled tea over, leaving room at the top.
  4. Add the juice of half the lemon, top each with chilled soda water, and stir gently.
  5. Finish with lemon slices and a few raspberries, and serve straight away.
  6. Muddle a few raspberries in the glass first for colour and real fruit.
What you'll end up with: A tart, fizzy, pink glass of real raspberry and lemon, with no alcohol and nothing artificial. Lovely on a hot day.
