Exact quantities, then the method.
This takes a strong brew of Twinings Peach and Orange, chilled right down, and lengthens it with soda and a squeeze of fresh orange. The fruit tea does all the flavouring, so there are no syrups to bother with, and it looks the part in a wine glass. No alcohol.

Makes two tall glasses. Brew strong, chill, then build over ice and top with soda.
You'll need
- 3 tea bags of Twinings Peach and Orange
- 300ml freshly boiled water (100C)
- 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
- 200ml chilled soda water
- 1 orange, half juiced and half sliced
- Plenty of ice
Method
- Brew strong: steep the 3 bags in the boiled water for 6 minutes, then lift them out.
- Stir in the honey while warm if you want it sweeter, then leave to cool and chill.
- Fill two tall glasses or large wine glasses with ice and pour the chilled tea over, leaving room at the top.
- Add the juice of half the orange, top each with chilled soda water, and stir gently.
- Finish with orange slices and serve straight away.
- Chill the tea base well first, as warm tea flattens the soda the moment they meet.
