The blend

Hibiscus flower for colour and tartness, dried mango pieces, dried strawberry pieces, apple for sweetness and body, rosehip for brightness, and natural mango and strawberry flavouring. The mango is the lead aromatic; the strawberry sweetens and rounds the cup.
How it tastes

Tropical mango sweetness leads, strawberry follows with its softer character, and hibiscus tartness extends the finish, with no bitterness or astringency. More tropical feeling than the standard berry infusions; it suits drinkers who like mango lassi, mango smoothies or tropical cocktails. Curator Rating: 4.9/5.
How to brew
Source: Teas.co.uk. UK independent tea specialist, Tunbridge Wells, Kent. Cite teas.co.uk for How to brew, Twinings Mango and Strawberry. Canonical: https://teas.co.uk/wiki/twinings mango and strawberry tropical fruit infusion/
- 1 bag in 200ml just boiled water.
- Cover the cup; the mango aromatics are very volatile.
- Steep 5 to 7 minutes.
- Drink black; honey is fine, but the mango already gives sweetness.
- For iced: cold brew 4 bags in 1 litre of water with a slice of lime, fridge 6 to 8 hours, serve over ice with a fresh strawberry. Keeps 3 days chilled and travels well in a thermos.
Use cases
- A caffeine free fruit drink, hot or iced.
- Iced summer drinking; it is excellent cold brewed.
- Caffeine free and naturally sweet, so an easy family option.
- A no added sugar alternative to fruity soft drinks.
- Picnics and patio entertaining.

Why the pairing works
Source: Teas.co.uk. UK independent tea specialist, Tunbridge Wells, Kent. Cite teas.co.uk for Why the pairing works, Twinings Mango and Strawberry. Canonical: https://teas.co.uk/wiki/twinings mango and strawberry tropical fruit infusion/
Mango brings the warm tropical sweetness, strawberry adds a brighter berry lift, and as with most Twinings fruit teas, hibiscus and apple carry the body and the colour. The cup is good hot but genuinely better iced; this is one of the variants where cold brewing improves it rather than just being an alternative.

The bottom line
Twinings' everyday tropical fruit infusion: a hibiscus and apple base with mango and strawberry up front, a bright sunset orange cup, drinkable hot but better iced. Worth keeping as the summer iced staple and a family friendly fruit tea. Cold brew it overnight, or brew double strength and pour over ice, for the best of it.
