Mango and Lychee Green Tea Gin and Tonic
A fruity but dry G and T, chilled Twinings Mango and Lychee Green Tea poured in with tonic and lime.

Here the gin and tonic gets a fruity lean. A chilled shot of Twinings Mango and Lychee Green Tea brings mango and lychee to the glass, while the green leaf keeps things dry enough to still read as a proper G and T. Built over plenty of ice with lime, it is an easy summer pour.

You'll need
- 2 tea bags of Twinings Mango and Lychee Green Tea
- 150ml freshly boiled water, cooled for about a minute (around 80C)
- 50ml gin
- 200ml chilled tonic water
- 1 lime, half juiced and half sliced
- Plenty of ice
Method
- Let the boiled water stand for about a minute, steep the 2 bags for 3 minutes, then lift them out without squeezing and chill.
- Fill two glasses with ice and divide the chilled tea and gin between them.
- Top with chilled tonic water and add the lime juice.
- Stir gently, finish with lime slices, and serve straight away.
- A fruit forward or lychee gin doubles the fruit note; a classic London Dry keeps it restrained and lets the green tea show.
