Iced Green Tea with Peach
A homemade iced peach green tea, brewed cool with honey and poured over crushed ice and fresh peach.

Homemade iced peach Green Tea beats anything out of a can, and it is barely any effort. The one thing to watch is the water: green tea wants it at around 80C, not boiling, or the finished drink carries a bitter undertone. Stir the honey in while the tea is still warm so it dissolves, then pour it over crushed ice and fresh peach. The real fruit lifts the peach already in the bag.

- Stir the honey into the warm tea until it dissolves, then chill for ten minutes.
- Drop a couple of peach slices into the glass and press them lightly with a spoon to release some juice.

- Tip: out of peach season, a couple of slices of tinned peach in juice do the job just as well.
