How to Brew Twinings Ginger Green Tea (80C, Warming Cup)
Twinings Ginger Green Tea at 80C for two to three minutes, the ginger warming through without the tea turning sharp.

Twinings Ginger Green Tea sits somewhere between a gentle brew and a pick me up. Treat the green leaf kindly by letting the kettle cool to around 80C, then steep for two to three minutes; that is long enough for the ginger to warm through without the tea going sharp. Good with honey, fine on its own.

You'll need
- 1 tea bag of Twinings Ginger Green Tea
- 200ml freshly boiled water, cooled for about a minute (around 80C)
- A little honey or a slice of lemon, to taste (optional)
Method
- Boil the kettle, then let it stand for about a minute so the water drops to around 80C.
- Pop the bag into your cup and pour the water over.
- Steep for 2 to 3 minutes, long enough for the ginger to come forward while the green leaf stays soft.
- Lift out the bag without squeezing it, add a little honey or a slice of lemon if you like, and enjoy.
- For a stronger ginger hit, tuck a thin slice of fresh root ginger into the cup alongside the bag while it steeps.
