“Strong” can mean more leaf, faster colour, brisker tannin, fuller aroma or simply a tea that survives milk. This guide separates the pack claim from the brewing method.
Define strength before ranking it
Do you want darker colour, more drying tannin, heavier malt, stronger aroma or better performance through milk? A tea can score high on one and moderate on another. Write down the desired cup before selecting the box.
Extra Strong versus richer
