You'll need

  • 1 tea bag of Twinings Lemon and Ginger
  • 200ml freshly boiled water (100C)
  • A little honey or a slice of lemon, to taste (optional)

Method

  1. Pop the bag into your favourite cup or mug.
  2. Pour over the freshly boiled water.
  3. Steep for 4 to 5 minutes, longer for a bolder, spicier ginger flavour.
  4. Lift out the bag, add a little honey or a slice of lemon if you like, and enjoy.
  5. For extra warmth, drop a thin slice of fresh root ginger into the cup alongside the bag while it steeps.
What you'll end up with: A bright, gently spiced cup of lemon and ginger with a familiar warming bite, caffeine free.
