The Hot Cup (Tropical Sun Lemongrass)
The classic caffeine free lemongrass brew, a bright, lemony, gently grassy cup.

Lemongrass makes a bright, refreshing cup: caffeine free, lemony and gently grassy, with no need for milk. Just hot water and a few minutes, and it is as good first thing as it is in the afternoon. A slice of lemon is all it really wants.

You'll need
- 1 tea bag of Tropical Sun Lemongrass
- 250ml freshly boiled water (100C)
- Honey, optional, to taste
- A slice of lemon, optional
Method
- Pop the lemongrass bag in your favourite mug.
- Pour over the freshly boiled water and leave to steep for 4 to 5 minutes.
- Lift out the bag without squeezing it, so the cup stays bright rather than dull.
- Taste, and add a little honey or a slice of lemon if you like.
- Sip hot and enjoy the fresh, lemony lift.
- Warm the mug first with a splash of boiling water before steeping; lemongrass is delicate and a cold mug noticeably dulls its bright, citrus character.
