Cold Brew Tetley Green Tea with Lemon
Steeped cold in the fridge for hours, the built in lemon makes a smooth, bright citrus green tea with no bitterness.

Because Tetley Green Tea with Lemon already has the citrus blended in, cold brewing it gives you a bright, lightly sweet lemon refresher with nothing added at all. Cold water and time do the work, pulling out the soft, sweet flavours and the lemon while leaving the bitterness behind.

It takes about a minute to put together and is the kindest method on caffeine, so it suits any time of day. Start it before you go to bed or head out, and a cold, citrus fresh jug is waiting when you get back.
You'll need
- 1 tea bag of Tetley Green Tea with Lemon
- 250ml cold, fresh water
- A lidded glass or small jug
- Optional: extra lemon slices or a sprig of mint
Method
- Put one bag into 250ml of cold water in a lidded glass or jug, with no hot water at all.
- Cover and leave in the fridge for four to eight hours, or overnight, which is hard to overdo.
- Lift the bag out; the slow cold steep has drawn out the sweetness and lemon and left the tannins behind.
- Pour over ice, add more lemon or mint if you like, and drink within a day.
