Strawberry and peach iced tea in a glass jugStrawberry & peach · no-cook jug

Recipe of the moment

Strawberry & peach iced tea.

Ripe summer fruit steeped into a fruity brew, barely sweet, jug-friendly. Opened up the way every recipe on the site works: exact quantities, numbered method, and what you actually end up with.

Prep 8 minChill 2 hrServes 4Vegan

What you need

  • 4 bags fruity black or fruit-infusion tea
  • 700ml just-boiled water
  • 150g ripe strawberries, halved
  • 1 ripe peach, sliced
  • 1 tbsp honey or sugar, optional
  • Ice and mint to finish

What to do

  1. Brew the tea strong for five minutes.
  2. Stir in sweetener while warm, if using.
  3. Add the fruit and leave to cool.
  4. Chill for two hours, then strain.
  5. Pour over ice and finish with mint.

The result: a jug that tastes of ripe summer fruit rather than syrup. Zero added colour, barely any sugar.

The teas.co.uk Tea Wiki, being written

Tea explained without the fog.

A free reference library we write ourselves: what each tea family actually is, how to brew it properly, which brands are worth the money, where the leaf comes from, and the people who made tea what it is. No sign-in, no fluff, and it grows every week.
