Brewing Twinings Detox (Lemongrass, Ginger and Fennel)

How to brew Twinings Detox: just boiled water and a good five minute steep for an earthy, citrussy cup of lemongrass and ginger.

Brewing Twinings Detox (Lemongrass, Ginger And Fennel)

Twinings Detox is a caffeine free herbal with an earthy, citrussy character: lemongrass and ginger sit on top of dandelion and fennel, which makes it a bit more savoury sweet than a plain herbal. Give it a proper five minute steep in just boiled water to draw it all out.

You'll need

  • 1 tea bag of Twinings Detox

  • A little honey or a slice of lemon, to taste (optional)

Method

  1. Pop the bag into your favourite cup or mug.
  2. Pour over the freshly boiled water.
  3. Steep for a full 5 minutes to draw out the lemongrass, ginger and fennel.
  4. Lift out the bag, then add a slice of lemon or a little honey if you like. No milk needed.
  5. Do not rush it, as lemongrass and fennel are slow to give up their flavour.
What you'll end up with: A savoury sweet cup with lemongrass and ginger over a gentle dandelion and fennel base, caffeine free.
