Iced Tetley Green Tea with Mango and Passion Fruit
Brewed double strength over ice, the mango and passion fruit make a naturally tropical iced tea with no syrup needed.

Iced Tetley Green Tea with Mango and Passion Fruit tastes like a proper tropical iced tea, and because the fruit is already in the blend there is no need for sugar syrup or cordial. It is just a well brewed Green Tea poured over ice, sweet with mango and lifted by tangy passion fruit.

Serves one. Brew it double strength so the melting ice dilutes it back to a balanced cup rather than a weak one, and keep the water at 80C so the concentrate stays smooth instead of bitter.
You'll need
- 1 tea bag of Tetley Green Tea with Mango and Passion Fruit
- 100ml just off boil water cooled to about 80C (boil, then rest the kettle for roughly 90 seconds)
- 100ml cold water
- A tall glass of ice
- Optional: a few chunks of fresh mango or a slice of lime
Method
- This one is brewed strong, then let down with cold water, so the ice never leaves it watery. Rest the kettle a minute or so after boiling, then steep one bag in just 100ml of the 80C water.
- Two minutes is enough; lift the bag out and let it drain on its own rather than pressing it.
- Cool the strong brew for a few minutes, then stir through 100ml of cold water.
- Pour over a tall glass of ice and drop in some fresh mango or a slice of lime.
