The recipe

Exact quantities, then the method.

Orange and elderflower make a lovely cold drink, a bit like an elderflower pressé with a citrus twist. Chilled, Twinings Immune Support brings exactly that, and a squeeze of orange keeps it fresh. No caffeine, so it is one for all afternoon.

⏱ 10 min plus chilling 🍽 Serves 4 📊 Easy 📚 Iced Tea Recipes

You'll need

  • 4 tea bags of Twinings Immune Support
  • 800ml freshly boiled water (100C)
  • 2 tablespoons honey (optional)
  • 1 orange, half juiced and half sliced
  • A few sprigs of fresh mint
  • Plenty of ice

Method

  1. Brew strong: steep the 4 bags in the boiled water for 6 minutes, then lift them out.
  2. Stir in the honey while warm if using, then leave to cool and chill.
  3. Pour the chilled tea into a large jug and add the orange juice.
  4. Add the orange slices and mint, top with plenty of ice, and serve in tall glasses.
  5. This keeps well in the fridge for up to two days; add the fresh orange slices and ice just before serving.
What you'll end up with: A long, fresh glass of orange and elderflower, lightly floral and easy to drink.
