Blood Orange and Cranberry Sparkling Spritz (Twinings)
Chilled Twinings Blood Orange and Cranberry tea over ice with soda and fresh orange, a deep ruby alcohol free spritz.

This one is as much about the colour as the taste. A strong, chilled brew of Twinings Blood Orange and Cranberry comes out a deep ruby, and topped with soda and a squeeze of orange it makes a proper party glass with no alcohol in it at all.

Makes two tall glasses. Brew strong, chill, then build over ice and top with soda.
You'll need
- 3 tea bags of Twinings Blood Orange and Cranberry
- 300ml freshly boiled water (100C)
- 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
- 200ml chilled soda water
- 1 orange, half juiced and half sliced
- A small handful of fresh or frozen cranberries

Method
- Brew strong: steep the 3 bags in the boiled water for 6 minutes, then lift them out.
- Stir in the honey while warm if you want it sweeter, then leave to cool and chill.
- Fill two tall glasses with ice and pour the chilled tea over, leaving room at the top.
- Add the juice of half the orange, top each with chilled soda water, and stir gently.
- Finish with orange slices and a few cranberries, and serve straight away.
- A splash of cranberry juice deepens both the colour and the tartness.
