Iced Camomile and Lemon Pitcher (Twinings Calm)
An iced jug of Twinings Calm camomile tea, sharpened with lemon and lifted by lemongrass, and caffeine free.

Iced camomile is an underrated thing: chilled and sharpened with lemon, Twinings Calm turns into a soft, floral jug a bit like a honey camomile lemonade. The lemongrass keeps it lively, and there is no caffeine in it.

Makes a jug for four. Brew it strong, chill it down, then pour long over ice with lemon and mint.
You'll need
- 4 tea bags of Twinings Calm
- 800ml freshly boiled water (100C)
- 2 tablespoons honey (optional)
- 1 lemon, half juiced and half sliced
- A few sprigs of fresh mint
- Plenty of ice
Method
- Brew strong: steep the 4 bags in the boiled water for 6 minutes, then lift them out.
- Stir in the honey while warm if using, then leave to cool and chill.
- Pour the chilled tea into a large jug and add the lemon juice.
- Add the lemon slices and mint, top with plenty of ice, and serve in tall glasses.
- Sweeten it lightly while warm, as camomile can turn bitter if over brewed.
