Iced Lemon And Rooibos Pitcher (Twinings Revitalise)

Green Rooibos makes an excellent iced tea: it holds its flavour well chilled, and the hibiscus in Twinings Revitalise gives the jug a tart edge and a pretty pink tint. A squeeze of lemon sharpens it up, and there is no caffeine.

⏱ 10 min plus chilling 🍽 Serves 4 📊 Easy 📚 Iced Tea Recipes

You'll need

  • 4 tea bags of Twinings Revitalise
  • 800ml freshly boiled water (100C)
  • 2 tablespoons honey (optional)
  • 1 lemon, half juiced and half sliced
  • A few sprigs of fresh mint
  • Plenty of ice

Method

  1. Brew strong: steep the 4 bags in the boiled water for 6 minutes, then lift them out.
  2. Stir in the honey while warm if using, then leave to cool and chill.
  3. Pour the chilled tea into a large jug and add the lemon juice.
  4. Add the lemon slices and mint, top with plenty of ice, and serve in tall glasses.
  5. Rooibos holds up well chilled, so this keeps in the fridge for two days.
What you'll end up with: A long, lively glass of rooibos and lemon with a clean citrus lift, good in the heat.
